Janet Acheatel is a Senior Wealth Advisor and co-founder of the firm’s Women’s Practice. Janet brings over thirty years of experience to the investment management and financial services industries. Janet’s full scope of professional experience encompasses invaluable skills in financial planning, investment portfolio management, client communications, marketing, and departmental and interdepartmental management.
Prior to joining HoyleCohen, Janet was Portfolio Manager at Brandes Investment Partners. For nine years, Janet was Senior Institutional Client Service Officer and Vice President of Marketing Communications and Research at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management. Earlier in her financial career, Janet was Executive Vice President at Lexington Capital Management. Janet’s career in the financial services industry began as Associate Vice President with Dean Witter Reynolds.
Janet earned her MBA from National University and BA from the University of Rhode Island. She is a Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA). Janet serves on the Board of Directors and Investment Committee for the Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego and is a board member of Hillel San Diego. She is a founding member and past President of PAICR (Professional Association for Investment Communications Resources) and currently serves on the Advisory Committee.
